West Side Dive Sites

West Side - On the west side, life seems to move a little bit slower. The towns have an old country charm that sets them apart from the rest of the Garden Island. Fields of sugar cane and coffee bushes streak far across the isle. Off in the distance you will catch the shadow of Ni'ihau and Lehua - the privately owned islands located 12 miles off Kauai's western shore.

The biggest attraction to the West side is Waimea Canyon. Called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

Mana Crack

Depth : 50'-95'
Topography : Type of wall diving on the West Side
Marine Life : Lots of fish, Octopus, Jacks and very colorful corals
Diveability : Only diveable in Summer Season - usually the back-up site for Ni'ihau.

Mana Crack is an excellent dive site located just off the West coast. Like the trip to Ni'ihau, it is a weather dependent dive trip, usually taking the whole day to complete. Both Mana and Ni'ihau diving is supreme - pristine near-virgin waters makes these dive sites awesome experiences.
