Marine Life : White Tip Reef sharks, Turtles, Razor Wrasse, Dragon Wrasse, Flying Cunard and many varities of Butterfly fish.

Topography : Notorious for the lava tubes, tunnels and caverns
Diveability : only in summer when there is no surf. Can have strong currents and poor viz.
A snorkeling and beginners diving site. From North on Highway 56 past Wainiha, 9/10's of a mile past the Hanalei Colony Resort. Good Lava Tubes. Should be very experienced skin diver. Up to 40'. Not advisable during winter months due to high surf.
We offer morning and afternoon shore dives. However, since the trade winds pick up in the afternoon, the water is much calmer early in the morning.
We can meet at 8:00am at the dive site and are usually finished by 11:30. Afternoon dives start at 12 noon. These dives are 2-tank dives in two different areas of the inside and outside reef.
